Wyoming 2-1-1 Seeks Information on Community Holiday Programs

(NOVEMBER 04, 2015, Wyoming 2-1-1 Press Release) — Wyoming 2-1-1 is seeking the public’s help to compile information and create a resource list of community holiday programs. Information on Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, food boxes and toy drives being provided by nonprofits, churches, or community organizations and businesses, can be sent to [email protected], via the Wyoming 2-1-1 Facebook page, or over the phone 307-433-3075 or 2-1-1. The information compiled will be given out to individuals who dial 2-1-1 and express a need for a meal, food box or additional support over the holiday season.

Wyoming 2-1-1 is a statewide nonprofit providing a single point of entry for individuals seeking community resources on health and human services in their communities throughout Wyoming. With one free phone call individuals receive information on services that will fit their needs, including basic needs, health and educational resources. Wyoming 2-1-1 serves and provides individuals in Wyoming with appropriate referrals to resources in their community utilizing the 2-1-1 community resource database that houses over 1,130 services for communities statewide.
