WWCC Community Education to offer Autumn Scandinavian Cooking Class beginning Oct. 28th

ROCK SPRINGS – The Community Education Program at Western Wyoming Community College is offering an Autumn Scandinavian Cooking Class beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28 and concluding on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The non-credit course will take participants on a culinary journey through Scandinavia.

Students will learn to prepare such dishes as Swedish meatballs, Aebleskiver with apple and lingonberry filling (Danish), Lefse and gravlax, and more. Class participants will receive recipes for each dish that is taught and will be able to take home both their work and the know-how to prepare these meals in the future.

Classes will be held on the four consecutive Wednesdays beginning on Oct. 28 and concluding Nov. 18, and will run from 6 – 8 p.m. at Green River High School. The cost is $70 for all four classes or $20 for each individual class.
