Two Females Arrested After MDMA and Marijuana Discovered in Vehicle

ROCK SPRINGS, October 12, 2015 — On Saturday, October 10, 2015 at approximately 2:33 a.m. Officers were patrolling in the area of Dewar and Arrowhead when a maroon 2006 Chevrolet Malibu traveling northbound on Dewar was speeding. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was identified as Mollie M. Flint, age 28, of Salt Lake City, Utah. A passenger was later identified as Elizabeth Samantha Pedroza, age 26, of Midvale, UT.

Further investigation revealed narcotics inside the vehicle. The substances discovered were field tested and resulted in a presumptive positive for MDMA (ecstasy) and marijuana.

Flint was later arrested for alleged Driving under the Influence of Alcohol and possession of marijuana and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

Pedroza was subsequently placed under arrest for misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, misdemeanor Possession of MDMA (Ecstasy) and Public Intoxication and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

RSPD reminds the public that all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
