ROCK SPRINGS, October 12, 2015 — On Sunday, October 11, 2015, at approximately 8:17 a.m. officers had responded to 425 “A” Street to serve an active arrest warrant on Timothy A. Tipton, age 31, of Rock Springs. While in the residence officers found misdemeanor amounts of marijuana.
As a result of the investigation, Tipton was arrested on the arrest warrant and for cultivation of marijuana. He was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center.
This investigation is ongoing.
The Rock Springs Police Department reminds citizens that all persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
