Rock Springs Man Flown To Utah Hospital After Four-Wheeler Crash

A Rock Springs man was flown to Utah for treatment of is injuries following a four-wheeler crash on Blair Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

Marvin Shockey, 55 of Rock Springs, was injured in a one vehicle accident at about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, according to a release from the Rock Springs Police Department.

When officers arrived to the accident of the 400 block of Blair Avenue, they observed that the crash involved a red four-wheeler that had overturned.

Shockey was identified as the driver and was transported to Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. He was subsequently flown to Utah for further treatment.

The 400 block of Blair Avenue was closed for approximately two hours while police investigated.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
