ROCK SPRINGS — On September 17, 2015 officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart for a male shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers met with Asset Protection and were able to identify the male as Anthony Ingram, 32 of Rock Springs.
Subsequently, Ingram was issued a summons for Shoplifting and warned of Trespass from Wal-Mart and released.
On September 25, 2015 at approximately 4:00 a.m. officers from the Rock Springs Police Department were again dispatched to a shoplifter at Wal-Mart. At Wal-Mart, officers met with employees and found that the suspect, an unknown male, fled on foot.
On September 28th, Ingram was subsequently arrested for Burglary, a felony, and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center after further investigation into the September 17th incident revealed that Ingram had previously been trespassed from Wal-Mart.
In addition, during the investigation of the September 25th incident, officers were able to identify Ingram as the unknown suspect. While being held at the Sweetwater County Detention Center on Burglary charges, Ingram was booked in on a second count of Burglary on September 30th.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
