OCTOBER 5, 2015 — A portion of the east loop of the Prior Flat Campground, in the Shirley Basin, was closed due to sightings of a black bear and two cubs in the campground.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will attempt to trap and remove the bears.
The Bureau of Land Management Rawlins Field Office will keep the area closed until the bears are trapped, or it is determined they have left the area.
