OCTOBER 7, 2015 — On October 5th, 2015 at about 5:30 PM, Officers of the Rock Springs Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of Broadway in Rock Springs regarding a Hit & Run collision.

Upon arrival Officers made contact with an adult male who told officers that his estranged wife had attempted to run him over after a verbal disagreement concerning the custody of their three year old child. The man related that his wife had gotten into her vehicle and had accelerated towards him as he was placing their child into a child safety seat in the vehicle and that he had to “throw” both himself and his daughter into his truck to avoid being struck. The man said his wife’s vehicle collided with his own vehicle and his wife then left the scene. Two witnesses at the scene told officers that the female had accelerated towards the man and the child and struck the man’s truck, subsequently leaving the scene.

Officers from the Green River Police Department were able to locate the female, identified as 33-year-old Tresha Bachman and her vehicle at her residence in Green River. Investigation led to the discovery of physical damage to Tresha Bachman’s vehicle consistent with the damage to her husband’ truck as previously observed by investigating officers. Tresha Bachman was placed under arrest for two counts of Aggravated Assault & Battery.
