(OCTOBER 26, 2015) — A single-vehicle crash west of Greybull, Wyoming on October 22nd has resulted in the death of 29-year-old Rio B. Good from Greybull, Wyoming. The crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. on US Highway 14/16/20 near mile post 84 approximately 17 miles west of Greybull.
Mr. Good was driving a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SUV westbound on US 14/16/20 when the vehicle left the highway to the north. The Toyota was overcorrected back onto the highway where it crossed both lanes of travel and exited the highway to the south. After leaving the highway to the south, the SUV tripped and rolled multiple times. Mr. Good was ejected during the crash as he was not buckled in. He succumbed to his injuries during transport by helicopter ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana.
Contributing factors in this crash are still under investigation. Mr. Good is projected to be the 121st highway fatality in Wyoming for 2015 compared to 126 fatalities during this same time period in 2014.
