LARAMIE – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is asking for information on the poaching of two bull elk in the area of Rogers Canyon Road northeast of Laramie.
The elk were killed with a firearm on private land just south of a section of state land off Rogers Canyon Road in elk hunt area 6. Meat was taken from one animal and the other remained untouched. The elk were most likely killed sometime between Oct. 21 and 24.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Stop Poaching Tip Line at 1-877-WGFD-TIP (1-877-943-3847). Tips may also be reported online at http://wgfd.wyo.gov. Informants can choose to remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward for information leading to an arrest.
