The University of Wyoming is encouraging fans to show their Poke Pride across social media as part of the 12th Annual College Colors Day celebration on Friday, September 2. The grand prize is a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
“On that day, Cowboy fans are encouraged to show their camaraderie and support for UW to all college football fanatics across the social media landscape,” says Barb Jordan from the UW Licensing Office. “Sharing imagery and video in Wyoming colors across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram while using the hashtag #CollegeColors also could find fans in some brand-new gear for sharing their support.”
The College Colors Challenge is a socially fueled national contest celebrating the excitement of college football. Through participating in a series of photo and video challenges on social media, fans can flaunt their colors, express their school spirit and vie for a trip to college football’s title game.
Three lucky fans from across the country will have the opportunity to win tickets to the College Football Playoff National Championship January 9 in Tampa, Fla., by visiting www.CollegeColorsDay.com. Tickets for the game are provided by College Football Playoff (CFP) and Extra Yard for Teachers, CFP’s primary charity partner that empowers and honors teachers who help student-athletes across the country realize their dream of attending college.
