The Sweetwater County Coroner’s Office has released the names of the two people found dead after a structure fire in Rock Springs Wednesday morning.
Sweetwater County Coroner Dale Majhanovich says Floyd Logan, 79, and Joyce Logan, 72, have been identified as the people who died in the structure fire on Connecticut Avenue shortly before 4:30 a.m. yesterday. Majhanovich said the husband and wife both died of smoke inhalation.
Rock Springs Fire Chief Jim Wamsley said no additional information is available on the fire at this time. He said his office is working with the State Fire Marshal’s Office to investigate the fire and determine its cause.
Alison Deters, public information officer with the Rock Springs Police Department, said they hope to provide the public with more information on the blaze later today.
