Rock Springs, WY – Get your costumes ready for the annual Downtown Halloween Stroll. Set for Saturday, October 29, the stroll will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants are encouraged to begin at the Rock Springs Historical Museum where they can pick up a goodie bag and treats. A map of participating merchants will also be available at the museum or on the Downtown Rock Springs Facebook page.
October 29 will be jam-packed as the Halloween Spooktacular also takes place that day in Downtown Rock Springs which includes tricycle races, Dachshund races, pumpkin carving contests and more.
The Broadway Theater will also be presenting two movies on October 29 – Bettlejuice and A Nightmare on Elm Street. The 80’s Frightful Features are sponsored by the Rock Springs Main Street/URA and WWCC ANTS Club. Bettlejuice begins at 3:00 p.m. and A Nightmare on Elm Street at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for each movie and available at the Rock Springs Main Street office, Rock Springs and Green River Chambers of Commerce.
The Rock Springs Main Street/URA is charged with the redevelopment of Downtown Rock Springs.
