Two Arrested In Rock Springs On Drug Possession Charges

Two people were arrested in Rock Springs after detectives allegedly found drugs in a vehicle Wednesday evening.300x250_RMB

John Kotusky, 26 with no listed place of residence, and Karry B. Hornsby, 37 of Reliance, were arrested after police allegedly found methamphetamine and heroin in a red Ford Mustang they were occupying.

According to Rock Springs Police, detectives from the Rock Springs Police Street Crimes Units and the Sweetwater Sherriff’s Office Sherriff’s Narcotics and Arrest Group conducted a search warrant on the Mustang along with Hornsby and Kotusky after detectives initiated a traffic stop on Sweetwater Drive near Smarty Jones Drive.

The search resulted in over 1 ½ ounces of methamphetamine as well as a small amount of heroin being found.

Kotusky and Hornsby were arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance –methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance-heroin, and interference with police.

Bond had not been set as of the time of the release.
