(OCTOBER 29, 2015) — The Ice Arena at the Family Recreation Center in Rock Springs will host a special skate party on Halloween Day from 1 – 4:30 pm. The family-friendly event will include a costume contest and candy for children who attend.
Participants are urged to wear costumes, as long as they do not drag on the ground. In addition, for safety reasons, masks and hand-held props will not be allowed on the ice.
The event is free if a patron has a membership to the Recreation or Civic Center. If not, cost is $3.25 for students and $6 for adults. It is $2.25 to rent ice skates, if needed.
