National Finals Rodeo Qualifiers to Compete at Mountain States Circuit Finals ProRodeo

Rock Springs, WY  – The Mountain States Circuit Finals PRCA Rodeo is set to take center stage at the Sweetwater Events Complex October 22-24, 2015.  Described as a combination of the Pro Bowl and the Playoffs for the Colorado and Wyoming pro rodeo cowboys, the Mountain States Circuit Finals is one of only twelve circuits across the United States. In the Mountain States Circuit, the top-12 money earners in each event are selected to participate in the circuit finals rodeo.  Participating in this year’s event will be many current, future and past National Finals Rodeo Qualifiers. Ninety six cowboys and cowgirls will be competing for their share of over $100,000 in prize money.

Three-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualifier Seth Brockman, a Wheatland Wyoming cowboy, will be competing for a chance at the Mountain State Circuit Finals Steer Wrestling Championship.  Seth finished the 2015 rodeo season 8th in the world and will be competing in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo for the 3rd time this December. Seth has a long list of professional highlights including wins at Cheyenne Frontier Days, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo,  and the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  Seth has competed in Rock Springs at the Mountain States Circuit Finals for several years and was crowned the circuit champion in 2012.  He’s been a member of PRCA since 2005 and took home the PRCA Resistol Rookie of the Year Award for steer wrestling that same year.  His PRCA career earnings top $339,000.

Laramie cowboy Seth Hardwick will be the man to beat in the bareback riding.  Seth is trying for back-to-back championships as he was the 2014 Mountain State Circuit Finals Bareback Champion.  His accomplishments include three Wrangler Champions Challenge wins this year alone, with career earnings of $158,795.00

Advance tickets to the Mountain States Circuit Finals, Oct. 22-24, are $15.00 and can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce offices in Rock Springs and Green River.  Each night of the rodeo will be action packed with 12 cowboys in each event; bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding.  The event will be held at the Sweetwater Events Complex Indoor Arena. Gates open nightly at 5:30 pm and feature the Mini Bareback World Championship Qualifier starting at 6:30 and PRCA Rodeo action at 7:30.  Plan on staying late on Friday and Saturday evening for the presentation of circuit awards and live music and dancing with the Sundowners.
