Hats and Horses, a Kentucky Derby Viewing Party is set for May 7, 2016 in Bunning Hall at the Freight Station. Those in attendance are asked to wear ‘derby attire’ including big hats for the ladies and dapper suits for the men.
The viewing party will feature hor d’ouvres from Coyote Creek and a cash bar for cocktails.
During the event, people can play games that could win them a prize if their horse of choice wins.
In addition, a silent auction will be held during the party. The silent auction includes a weekend trip to Yellowstone, getaway to Saratoga Resort and a stay at the Wort Hotel in Jackson.
Tickets are $50 each or $80 for a couple. Corporate tables are also available for $500.
Hats and Horses is a fundraiser benefiting the Rock Springs Renewal Fund. The Rock Springs Renewal Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization that runs parallel to the Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency and holds a variety of community events throughout the year, all aimed at redeveloping and revitalizing the downtown area.
Tickets are available at the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Rock Springs Main Street/URA Office.
