Rock Springs and Green River Beautification Committees Announce Pride Of Place Award Program

(OCTOBER 27, 2015) — Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism would like to announce the Pride of Place Award program that was recently developed by both the Rock Springs and Green River city beautification committees. The Pride of Place Award Program is designed to recognize Rock Springs and Green River business and resident owners whose properties reflect pride of ownership and commitment to the beautification of the city, thereby contributing in a positive manner to the overall appearance of the both cities.

On a monthly basis, The Rock Springs and Green River Beautification Committees will select a business and/or residential property to receive the Pride of Place Award within their respective city. “There are a number of properties throughout the city that are well manicured and truly exude pride. The committee would like to recognize these efforts that have such a positive impact on both residents and visitors to the area,” said Jenissa Meredith, Executive Director, Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism Board. Nominations will be open to the public. All nominated properties will be considered. Potential nominees may have made substantial improvements to the exterior of their buildings/homes and/or landscape in the last year or have consistently maintained their properties in an attractive and well-kept manner.
